**As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for**:
- Generating 3D and 2D designs from the interpretation of internal design and customer specifications and verifying against current manufacturing and assembly practices.
- Producing detail, machining, fabrication, and assembly drawings/models using Creo to ASME Y14.5 2009 standards and format with attention to tolerance studies and verifying fit, form and function at max, nom, and min conditions.
- Creating part specifications and revisions as part of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Teamcenter process clarifications, workflows system updates and improvements
- Designer will be responsible for creating the layout, detail and assembly of designs including required fixtures and assemblies for verification testing.
- Creating system layout assemblies and drawings when applicable, showing new products in running sequences with new or existing running tools.
- Creating conceptual designs meeting project requirements and layouts for review following company design process management
- As required support Engineers in creation of Bills of Materials
- Retrieving and submitting data in Teamcenter following company protocols
- Identifying and ensure equipment is designed in accordance with the current Health, safety and environmental legislation and safe operation.
- Identifying improvements in existing products, procedures, processes and develop cost effective solutions to satisfy specifications.
**Fuel your passion**
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience
- Working knowledge of Creo or Pro Engineer 3D CAD software
- Has established experience in drafting standards
- Familiar with design process methodologies
- Be able to speak fluent Portuguese
- Advanced English
**Desired characteristics**:
- Subsea Wellhead experience a plus
- Familiar with relevant industry standards and codes for Subsea Wellhead equipment (API 17D, API 6A, etc.).
- Good understanding of fabrication and machining processes.
