Commercial and Supplier Management Associate Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Supplier Management Associate Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and supporting all facets of interactions with our security and networking vendors. Key responsibilities include negotiation management, contract management, supplier governance, project management, relationship management with vendors' key contacts, and obtaining product requirements from our internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will also oversee a team of analysts and consultants responsible for executing annual hardware, software, and SaaS renewals, supporting and tracking rollouts, invoice payments, spend reporting, and product quoting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiation Management: Lead and manage negotiations with security and networking vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
* Contract Management: Oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Supplier Governance: Implement and maintain supplier governance frameworks to monitor vendor performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Project Management: Coordinate and manage projects related to vendor services, including hardware rollouts and other IT initiatives.
* Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors' key contacts and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
* Product Requirements: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather and understand product requirements and ensure vendors meet these needs.
* Team Management: Supervise and support a team of analysts and consultants, providing guidance and oversight on tasks such as renewals, rollouts, invoice payments, spend reporting, and product quoting.
* Tactical Support: Manage and support analysts and consultants in tracking hardware shipments/software delivery, obtaining maintenance renewal requirements, approving invoices, and product quoting.
* Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on vendor performance, spend, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and strategy.
* Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Legal, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in IT supplier management, with a focus on security and networking vendors.
* Strong negotiation, contract management, and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
* Experience managing and supporting a team of analysts and consultants.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* High proficiency in English.
* Familiarity with IT Security and Networking products and vendors.
* Ability to work independently and remotely, with a focus on global vendors and stakeholders.
