Risk Manager, Compliance BR, Restricted Products - TSE
The Regulatory Intelligence and Safety Compliance (RISC) team in LATAM is looking for a Risk Manager to lead BR Healthcare program.
We are looking for a dynamic, organized and self-starter to join our team. You must enjoy operating in a space with high degree of ambiguity and solve for problems that are novel and haven’t been solved before. You should be able to demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, and an aptitude to relentlessly invent solutions.
Key job responsibilities
1. Drive ingestion of compliance needs, design initiatives and partner with program teams to launch controls.
2. Identify and lead improvement projects, eliminating excess processes, driving efficiencies and creating predicable process controls and processes (including automated tools and systems) to support improving state of compliance, business expansion and program efficiency.
3. Identify and monitor key operational risk areas, define and benchmark risk indicators, ascertain risk thresholds, review processes' health, and engage with stakeholders to drive risk mitigation.
4. Design success metrics/goals, and report out on progress, obstacles, and path to resolution to cross-functional leadership.
5. Develop and maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders locally and around the world, particularly teams focused on Restricted Products.
6. Convert team knowledge into scalable standard operating procedures, establish swim lanes across a diversifying and quickly-changing organization, and reduce complex workflows to aligned RACIs and approval mechanisms.
7. Leverage technology to manage compliance processes.

The Risk Manager is a key driver of Amazon's compliance programs in the regulatory area. The role works across multiple global stakeholders, including operations and tech, to drive a large portfolio of key deliverables that are tracked at an executive level.

The LATAM RISC team is focused on protecting Amazon customers from illegal and unsafe products. Our customers trust us to ensure a trustworthy shopping experience and provide a safe shopping environment for them and their families.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish (Business level communication skills) is a must
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience in Healthcare or related industry
