**Job Summary**:

Operations is accountable for materials planning, importation, inventory management and optimization, warehousing, distribution, and reverse logistics.
Ensure the proper local demand management, focusing on inventory reliability and healthiness, while providing our Patients and Customers the best Service.
Lead the entire Operations team on two different locations (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo).
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for overseeing demand/supply planning, facilities, distribution and commercial operations, while ensuring strategy is integrated with Zimmer Biomet growth plans
- Develop mid long-term function strategy, and processes in close alignment with the Commercial team, Quality, Finance, General Management
- Directly lead Operations organization on the current on-going activities
- Implement Best in Class Operation standards, focusing on cost efficiency and service
- Develop KPIs to track Operations performance, execute gap analysis put improvement actions plans in place
- Be the key reference in Operations to support all other enabling functions to exceed business goals
- Foster Continuous improvement mindset, creating opportunities to execute and deliver robust results
- Define all key controls and management for both implants and Instruments
- Responsible to attend and support to both internal and external audits, as well as to identify areas of opportunity and potential observations to be addressed
- Commit to the highest standards of Quality, Regulatory and Compliance
- Be a people leader, creating a transparent, trustful and equal development opportunities to all individuals in the Operations Organization.
Responsible for maintaining distribution budget and operating expenses according to plan

**Education/Experience Requirements**:
- Background in Engineering, Business Administration or related areas, Masters degree is a plus
- Solid experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, reverse logistics, planning, distribution, inventory management.
- Background in Orthopedics/MedTech considered a plus
- Background in the Health industry considered as a differential
- Solid experience in different roles and function within the Supply Chain - Fluent in English speaking and writing- Spanish is a plus
**Travel Requirements**:
- 50%-60% travel first 6 months, then up to 50% as needed.
