NoOffer DescriptionThe project “Peptide Biodiversity: Advancing Human Health Through Nature's Pharmacological Treasures” offers one post-doctoral position to start immediately, featuring a Post-Doctoral Fellowship for 36 months funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) with a monthly stipend of R$ 12.000,00. The position is aimed at excellent young researchers who wish to develop research on natural products orbitide or/and cyclopeptide classes, in plant species of Brazilian biodiversity, linked to the international collaboration project jointly funded by FAPESP and the Biodiversa network (part of EU's Horizon 2020).Young scientists with knowledge in isolation, structural determination and synthesis of natural products in general or in particular to cyclic peptide classes, with a goal in technology and innovation, are invited to apply and compete for this post-doctoral fellowship.The research will be carried out at the São Paulo State University's Araraquara Institute of Chemistry (IQAr-UNESP), under the supervision of Prof. Vanderlan Bolzani, at the Laboratory of Natural Products, Peptide Chemistry and Chemical Ecology of the Center for Bioassays, Biosynthesis and Ecophysiology of Natural Products (NuBBE ).
