As a member of our Industrial Design Team, you will contribute to our bigger goal of making a positive impact on people’s everyday lives, one product at a time.What you’ll do:As an Industrial Designer, you will focus on developing exceptional designs for major kitchen appliances, contributing to the evolution of our product portfolio while ensuring alignment with Electrolux’s brand vision and consumer expectations. Help Electrolux keep shaping living for the better and we'll help you go further than you ever thought possible.In detail, you will:Lead the end-to-end design process for major kitchen appliances, from initial concept to final production.Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.Develop and execute designs that adhere to Electrolux’s Visual Brand Language (VBL), ensuring consistency and market differentiation.Utilize user research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform design decisions.Create high-quality sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.Evaluate materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes to optimize cost, sustainability, and product aesthetics.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and design practices to drive innovation.As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).Who you are:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field; Masters is a plus.Solid experience in industrial design, preferably in the home appliances or consumer electronics sector.A portfolio/personal website with relevant material (user-centered product designs) for analysis (submit with CV).Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, Alias and KeyShot as well as sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling skills.Experience applying AI tools and technologies to enhance the design process.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost implications.Advanced English (effective communication and presentation skills).Where you’ll be:You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba.
