A leading provider of digital entertainment services is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team dedicated to the support and maintenance of internal systems used for advertising preparation and broadcasting. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and optimal performance of mission-critical applications, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address production issues, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of system stability and efficiency. The team operates across multiple time zones, primarily in the USA and Poland, and is responsible for maintaining robust workflows that support seamless advertisement delivery to millions of global viewers. We utilize modern software engineering best practices, including proactive monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement to maintain high service standards.
Responsibilities: • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for internal applications critical to advertising preparation and broadcasting.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues swiftly and efficiently.• Perform regular system updates, including security patches, SDK upgrades, operating system enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.• Monitor system health proactively, identifying potential performance bottlenecks or operational risks and addressing them through preventive measures.• Develop and enhance monitoring tools and dashboards to track system performance, ensuring stable and reliable advertisement delivery workflows.• Implement automated solutions aimed at improving incident response times and reducing manual intervention in recurring support scenarios.• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and documentation, promoting best practices within the team. Mandatory Skills Description: • Strong experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, Glue, Lambda, and CDK.• Proficiency with ElasticSearch/OpenSearch for search and analytics functionality.• Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Kibana, OpenSearch, Grafana, and Prometheus.• Advanced programming skills in Golang, with a proven ability to deliver production-ready code. Nice-to-Have Skills Description: • Knowledge and experience with micro-services architecture.• Understanding of AWS cost efficiency practices and optimization strategies.• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration.• Familiarity with the advertising domain and related workflows.
