**_Regional Procurement Category Manager - LATAM_**
**The Challenge**
As Regional Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the Facilities Management category coming from all the Business Groups and Regional units.
The main challenge will be to extract value from fast pace solutions offered in the market and matching that with our needs of the diverse businesses.
Deep understanding of the needs of our businesses being customer centric is crucial for the success of our business while securing optimum cost leadership.
**The Position**
The main responsibilities for this position are:
- Lead the design, development and implementation of category strategy for designated categories based on a deep understanding of businesses and in line with the global cluster strategy
- Manage collaboration, knowledge sharing and proper communication within the company by providing category expertise and ensuring use of standardized processes (Ariba CLM, SLM)
- Be a strong liaison between Site Managers, Finance Teams, Human Resource functions, Category Mangers, Buyers in other regions.
- Grow a deep expertise within the category areas by accessing market insights and external knowledge to ensure the category strategy is enriched by knowledge of the supply market and newest solutions within the field.
- Lead engagement interactions with regional teams across assigned category or subcategory scope.
- Act as commercial owner for the suppliers and external market developments in this category
- Develop and lead a Supplier Management Program for the relevant suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
- Help drive change with the stakeholders during the deployment of new initiatives
- Actively look for solutions integral with our sustainability ambitions
**The ideal**
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineer, Economy, or related areas.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
- Experience in Procurement with relevant experience in Facilities Category
- Experience with Project Management
