**HR Operations Analyst**

You will be a part of the HR Operations team that is responsible for providing simple, scalable, and efficient core HR services to all Expedia employees worldwide. This includes delivering front-line customer support, processing high-volume transactions, and improving many aspects of the employee experience.
We have embarked upon a global transformation of the HR Operations function, and this role will form part of the newly established Americas HR Operations team. You will be an active member of this team and participate in team projects and find opportunities for process standardization across the entire Americas region, whilst primarily providing customer-focused HR services to LATAM-based employees, across multiple countries.
The role is quite varied, and you will be expected to have excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills and possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

**What you'll do**:
- You will provide excellent customer service; evaluate and analyze the employee request/concern, quickly interpret the situation, determine the appropriate resolution and/or escalation and communicate as appropriate to the customer, in line with Service Level Agreements
- You will be actively involved in the HR process standardization activities across entities in the LATAM region, proactively identifying alignment opportunities and establishing action plans to address the gaps
- You will create and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency
- You will interact cross-functionally with Centers of Expertise (CEOs ), HR Operations Global and Regional HR teams to ensure handoffs, communication and interactions are customer focused, seamless, and delivered with high quality
- You will provide core HR services to LATAM-based employees:
- Manage onboarding and offboarding, and all key operational HR processes
- Provide outstanding first-line customer service, and ensure queries in the HR Service Now queue is responded to in a timely and customer centric manner
- Prepare employment documents, where required (e.g. Employment agreements, employment verification letters in local language)
- Maintain employee files and coordinate documentation retention and governance procedures
- Maintain an accurate record on all HR systems
- Coordinate the administration of local benefits (outside of Company standard benefits) and handle the benefits’ queries from employees
- Establish strong partnership with LATAM Payroll team to ensure employee changes are communicated accurately and on time
- Support Brazil timeclock activities and align practices where necessary
- Support development or creation of HR policies according to changes in legislation / Company processes
- Actively participate in the Americas HR Operations team, sharing knowledge, learnings, and best practices
- You will create process flow documentation and identify opportunities for process standardization and improvement
- You will identify trends which require additional attention and/or clarification and suggest appropriate solutions
- You will consider the impact of Expedia’s regular calendar of activities, and differences between brands, upon HR service delivery and implement efficient solutions
- You will actively champion change; identify ways to improve and challenge status quo
- You will act as the customer advocate for HR by representing the services in a positive manner
**Who you are**:
- Bachelor’s in business administration or Organisational Psychology or related field; or Equivalent related professional experience
- Understanding of LATAM HR processes (e.g., onboarding/offboarding/Benefits)
- Passion to work and develop a career in HR
- Global operations/shared services experience desired
- Fluency in English (essential)-Portuguese
- Spanish
- Must be a proactive self-starter who can work well in an environment of continuous change
- Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word, and especially Excel
- Project management exposure or completed a few standalone projects-based work End to End
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of employment legislation in the LATAM labor market
- Exposure to payroll process in LATAM (preferred)
- A highly customer-orientated approach, committed to achieving excellent levels of customer service
