Job Description
Samsung Ads, the advertising monetization arm of Samsung Electronics, leverages proprietary real-time TV viewing behavior and insights to promote relevant brands and content experiences to consumers. We partner with brands, agencies, and content owners to deliver unique advertising opportunities on native placements within our Smart TV platform and programmatically with a cross-device solution.
Samsung’s unique first-party data helps brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets, and our Smart TVs. The Samsung Ad platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.
We are looking for a Programmatic Media Manager to drive the expansion of our programmatic business. This role will be crucial in managing relationships with advertisers, agencies, trading desks, SSPs and DSPs to maximize programmatic revenue.
Candidates should have prior experience in programmatic media, digital advertising, and customer success, with a focus on optimizing campaigns, driving adoption of programmatic solutions, and ensuring revenue growth. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the advertising industry across digital & programmatic platforms.
This is a key role within our Customer Success Management (CSM) team, helping to drive Samsung Ads' programmatic business forward. If you are passionate about programmatic advertising and want to be part of a growing and dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Drive the growth of Samsung Ads' programmatic business by expanding adoption of PG, PMP, and Open Auction solutions.
* Work closely with advertisers, agencies, SSPs, DSPs, and trading desks to increase demand for Samsung Ads’ inventory and optimize programmatic buying strategies.
* Collaborate with SSPs to ensure strong monetization performance, negotiating deals and managing supply partnerships.
* Partner with the operations team to manage and optimize specific programmatic campaigns across SSPs and DSPs, ensuring profitability and success.
* Analyze and track advertising costs and performance data to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvements.
* Develop strategic recommendations based on campaign performance, providing insights that drive growth.
* Generate detailed reports and presentations to communicate results and strategies effectively.
* Work closely with Product and Tech teams to improve processes, develop new tools, and enhance existing ones to support programmatic sales efforts.
* Facilitate client engagement through regular meetings, onboarding support, and proactive campaign recommendations.
* Advocate for customers internally, ensuring their feedback is incorporated into product development and roadmap discussions.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in programmatic media, advertising sales, or ad operations, specifically in account management or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of programmatic advertising, including DSPs, SSPs, and the broader ad tech ecosystem.
* Experience working with agencies, trading desks, and ad tech partners.
* Analytical mindset with experience in data processing, reporting, and campaign optimization.
* Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with programmatic platforms and reporting dashboards.
* Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and ability to present insights and recommendations to clients.
* Bachelor's degree required.
