We invite you to join our dynamic team in São Paulo as a Manager, Royalties. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your exceptional organizational and analytical skills to manage and optimize our royalties processes. Your attention to detail will be crucial, but your ability to see and address the broader picture will truly set you apart. What You’ll Be Doing.
1. Main point of contact for locally signed writers and artists regarding royalty inquiries
2. Liaison with regional Finance & central Royalty Processing teams
3. Manage inbound cash process in coordination with regional finance team (publishing/master/production music)
4. Management of incoming statements processes with regional CMOs
5. Assistance with royalty processing, review of matching, review and release of error & suspense files
6. Take care of invoice requests for incoming royalty statements
7. Act on tax exemption matters
8. All formalities linked to calculation & distribution to interested parties including statement preparation, distribution and payment request
9. Work closely with regional collective management organizations (ECAD/ABRAMUS/BACKOFFICE) regarding distribution matters, repertoire registration & sales declarations
10. Conduct quarterly client account review meetings for regional staff and management
11. Collaborate with Income Tracking & Copyrights on tasks related to revenue assurance
12. Participate with colleagues from other offices as part of the world-wide initiatives
13. Act as a regional subject matter expert for Royalty topics
Must Haves.
14. Strong service orientation and project management skills
15. Ability to communicate financial data and concepts to a wide audience
16. Comfortable with adjusting to evolving priorities and managing expectations of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
17. Strong communication as well as team working skills and experience in working with international teams
18. You are committed and have an eye for detail
19. You like to work independently and reliably
Nice To Haves.
20. Experience gained by working at a CMO, music publisher, or record label in an analytical or financial function
21. Prior experience with SAP is not required but is a plus
22. Advanced Excel skills: Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus
23. Fluent in English (written and verbal), Spanish is a plus
