As our new Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing our accounts as well as growing our existing portfolio. You will work directly with electrical engineering firms, electrical contractors, general contractors, integrators, dealers and end users/owners, and will utilize previous technical knowledge and experience to grow sales and improve specification rates, while driving general acceptance of DEIF’s solutions.Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the local DEIF integrators and future distributors to develop a complementary business growth process.Working tasks & responsibilities
Servicing and developing/growing new key accounts targeted by the company by introducing products, conducting demos/trials for approvals, and securing contracts/orders.
Aligning individual (quarterly and annual) goals and contributions with the department goals, as well as the overall sales/growth strategy.
Working with OEM’s and end users, especially rental and critical power sector to ensure pull through ensure DEIF specified
Building strong, long-lasting relationships with electrical consultants and including DEIF’s products in their projects’ tenders.
Responsible for price negotiations for product sales.
Actively selling to new and existing customers all ranges of DEIF products including making “cold calls”.
Participating in exhibitions and trade shows.
Following price management processes and entering relevant leads/visits in CRM.
Focusing on process improvements and team collaboration with the Operations, Service & Support teams.
Escalating relevant issues that would need immediate attention to the department manager.
Understanding safety measures in line with our Global Safety Policy. Identifying gaps and proactively suggest improvements.What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
3 years’ progressive experience in technical sales/sales support with specific experience in distributed power generation, engine and generator technology, microgrids, alternative fuels, automatic transfer switches, automation or related field.
Experience with end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
A hunter mentality, with high resilience and proactive approach.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build solid, long-lasting relationships.
Knowledge of industry/market and customers.
Ability to travel as needed.
Knowledge of applications and products.
Excellent communication skills – Verbal, written and presentation skills.
Experience working with CRM systems.
