Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician
As a Senior RME Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the tools and technologies used by Amazon are always up-to-date and running efficiently. This involves adopting the latest technologies, identifying new ways of working, and implementing upgrades to maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure everyone follows correct processes.
* Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks, scheduling additional servicing when required.
* Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
* Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations, enabling them to process packages quickly.
* Support finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the Brazil network.
A Day in the Life:
In every shift, you will lead a team to ensure everyone has the equipment they need and it is running properly. This involves monitoring processes to follow regulations and policies, and performing preventative maintenance to increase equipment uptime.
Requirements:
* Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
* High school or equivalent diploma.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
* Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs, National Electrical Code (NEC), work order management.
* Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
* Experience in vendor management.
* Experience with robotic maintenance.
