Department: University Projects and Change ManagementExempt/Non-Exempt: ExemptSystem Job Title: CoordinatorSUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of University Projects & Change ManagementSUPERVISION EXERCISED: Student workers as appropriatePOSITION SUMMARY: The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting project execution by coordinating activities, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders.
This position is responsible for tracking project progress, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring that key project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Hybrid work options available.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in planning, organizing, and managing project activities under the direction of the Director of University Projects & Change Management.Develop and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, risk logs, progress reports, and project website.Assist in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure alignment with project goals.Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute relevant materials to team members.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives.Manage and update project schedules and deadlines using project management tools.Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and dashboards for executive review.Ensure compliance with Moravian University policies and project management best practices.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail (critical requirement).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google SuiteAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills, fast learner, and a proactive approach to challenges.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or CAPM certification is a plus.Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project environments.Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking for projects.Project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or Jira).Moravian University does not sponsor applicants for this position for a U.S. work visa.TO APPLY: Qualified candidates should attach their cover letter and resume to their online application by clicking "Apply Now."
