FIFA27 will be established as the Local FIFA Subsidiary in Brazil, to work together with FIFA HQ in Zurich and globally, to deliver the biggest women’s sporting event in the world, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 (“FWWC2027”).This role will initially be a temporary freelance position supporting the preparation phase for the FWWC2027, with the possibility to transition to a fixed-term contract position once the FIFA27 local subsidiary is established in Brazil.Job DescriptionThe PositionThe Manager, Accommodation Contracts is responsible for the successful implementation of the accommodation contract process and defining (together with relevant FIFA27 and FIFA Zurich departments) assumptions for hotel rooms, function spaces and other hotel services within the Host Country for the delivery of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027.Key ResponsibilitiesDefines (together with relevant FIFA27 and FIFA Zurich departments) assumptions for hotel rooms, function spaces and other hotel services for the tournament and related events.Contracts and procures the respective hotel inventory and related services.Establishes contacts with the most relevant hotel chains in Brazil and identifies the suitable hotels for the various FIFA Accommodation User Groups.Adapts the hotel agreement template in collaboration with FIFA Legal.Establishes the necessary tools, such as concepts, project plans, communication models and business workflows for contracting projects.Negotiates the conditions, inventory, and related services.Travels for site visits and on-site negotiations.Pre-allocates rooms to FIFA target groups in close collaboration with the respective internal units.Reports on progress and marking critical host cities on a regular basis.Electronic and physical archiving of contracts.Achieves cost savings and efficiency gains.Your ProfileMinimum 3 years’ experience in operational management of hotels, conventions, or major sports events.Planning, process and business management skills.Contract negotiation and key-account management experience.Strong project management and excellent communication skills.Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).Fluent in English (oral and written)Fluent in Portuguese (oral and written)Über FWWC2027The FIFA Women’s World Cup is the greatest women’s sporting event on the planet, showcasing the best players in the world on the biggest stage.
