**Job Purpose**
Maximizes revenue through indirect sales channels, leading and coaching Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Executives, owning and designing the Indirect Strategy for the South America region, including recruiting and coordination with the other sales teams.
As part of the Zone management team, co-ordinates and supports the activities of Partner Development Managers to ensure the delivery of effective and commercially responsible Partner Development business operations to support the revenue growth of indirect Partner software sales to meet Country/Zone level objectives.
In partnership with the Zone executives and management, contribute to the sales pipeline strategy, understanding the Partner Development contribution requirements for the Zone.
Support Country Partner Development Managers to oversee the planning and delivery of expansion and growth within new and existing partners through the coordination of coverage and capacity planning and alignment with Partner Managers and Solution Partners, including enhanced portfolio coverage, aligned with SPL Zone level objectives.
Contribute to zone strategy planning and setting of targets, priorities, and initiatives. Manage personnel decisions such as recruitment, training and development, performance management, etc., in line with relevant regulations, where required. Represent the Region on Zone / Global Partner Development meetings, communicating and championing issues and concerns from the Region, and reporting on South America performance.
Mentors locally and cross functionally and acts as an advocate to others in the business with respect to the impact and value of Partner Solution partners.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience as a thought-leader in business development, partnerships, product management, general management, or sales.
- Experience leading people and teams.
- Ability to speak and write in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Business Operations Management:_
- Maximizes revenue through the direction and coaching of Indirect Team on Partner Management and 'key' Vertical Markets through the creation and management of an organizational strategy.
- Ability to understand/articulate and align customer strategy with SPLMS solutions independently.
- Ensures sales goals are met within organization strategies. Maintains coordination with integral organization functions.
- Responsible for resource allocation including budget as well as the hiring; firing; performance appraisals and pay reviews of sales management and associated sales force.
- Sales Operations Management:_
- Lead the definition of a comprehensive Indirect Sales strategy based on past experience, appreciation, and understanding of the marketplace and the current key drivers for the zone, aligned with global goals, and support its interpretation within a country context.
- Closely monitor the market reaction to the zone Sales strategy and adjust plans accordingly.
- Establish efficient working processes within the Sales teams and effectively delegate and co-ordinate activities to achieve Zone goals
- Supports the Sales activities of a zone and acts as an escalation point for process and customer issues when required
- Spearheads the investigation and evaluation of business potential of new Markets and/or Solutions within the zone.
- People Management and Mentoring: _
- Ensure appropriate learning and development plans are established for direct reports, with support from L&D or HR Business Partner
- Provide direction and coaching to Sales managers in the strategic management of the Sales business unit
- Value Selling:_
- Contribute to the creation and definition of Standards / Know How regarding PLM Value Messaging and/or Industry/Process Best Practices
- For Key strategic bid proposals and global projects, lead the bid team, liaise across the sales, Sales, and services functions to provide oversight and consultancy for, and communicate a clear vision of, the proposed solution within the industry context of the customer;
