We’re seeking a tech-savvy professional to provide exceptional IT support across our business operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the IT Manager, in this key role as an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering online, phone, and in-person technical support across Australia and New Zealand. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, support system upgrades, and provide training on new technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with local, regional, and global IT teams, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will:
* Provide IT support to users via phone, online, and in person.
* Respond to support requests, ensuring timely resolutions and clear communication.
* Maintain accurate records of reported issues and resolutions.
* Assist in deploying software updates, patches, and security measures.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
* Conduct training for new employees and support users with technology upgrades.
* Identify recurring issues and document solutions in knowledge bases.
* Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT personnel as needed.
About You
Ideally, your background will include:
* 5+ years of experience in an IT support role.
* Strong technical knowledge of mobile devices, networks, and desktop/laptop systems.
* Experience working with Microsoft 365 and related applications.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Strong team orientation.
* A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to IT support.
* Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
* Experience supporting multiple locations and remote users.
* Broad understanding of IT systems and best practices.
