They nurture the project to meet its objectives.
To set scope and develop project plan, business case and execution tactical plan, in line with the Business / Department strategy, project and functional standards ensuring a successful delivery of the aimed project result.Responsibilities:The Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering the project on time, in full and on/below budget.
The Project Manager should also make sure that the project complies with the AkzoNobel Policies and Procedures for projects.The project manager works closely with the Project Lead (content expert) Iin order to:Prepare the project & create the project plan • Execute the project planHandover the result & close the projectEnsure proper stakeholder management and deliver value for the customerDefine and negotiate project objectives, deliverables and roles when working with outsourced business partnersConduct project meetings to measure the plan progress, manage the risks and address project issues.Promote best practice methods, approaches and practices for project management across the AkzoNobel community through mentoring, coaching and demonstrating project management leadershipOrganize post project reviews and document lessons learned and contribute to have Projects Management and standard Project Management methodology continuously optimizedThe Project Manager is managing the relationship with the project sponsor, the project members and all stakeholders.Education:Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related Analytical field requiredCertifications in either: PMI/PMP, IPMA or Prince2 are desirableExperience:Experience in Project ManagementAdvanced English, daily contact with Global (required) • Spanish (nice to have)Specific knowledge:Manages the relation with a (large) variety of (groups of) stakeholdersPlanning and organizing skills • Strong analytical and problems solving abilitiesPeople management skills: ability to manage and motivate a (large) team of indirect reportsGood communication skills with compliance groups, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels in the organization.Location:São Paulo - MorumbiWe want to get to know you, and we invite you to apply.AkzoNobel, together we paint a better future.
