Safety and Compliance:
The Improvement Manager role at Dow focuses on Process Safety and Project Management, prioritizing the implementation of capital projects and process safety programs. The successful candidate will lead the way in ensuring compliance with local regulations and implementing Loss Prevention Principles (LPP's).
Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including:
* Providing Process Safety support for facilities, collaborating with PSTL's and Business Technology Center.
* Performing Process Safety reviews on MOC's, escalating where required.
* Communicating Process Safety knowledge and issues between teams.
* Facilitating gap assessments against Dow's requirements and local standards.
* Participating in Root Cause Investigations and other Process Safety requirements.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with 5 years of experience in Process Safety, Operation, Manufacturing, or Project Management. Additionally, you should possess strong work process knowledge, interpersonal effectiveness, and conflict management skills.
