Job Duties:
* Plans, schedules and conducts activity programs
* Plans and schedules trips and outside activities; arranges for transportation and supervision
* Assists in developing and printing of a newsletter that includes articles of past and future activities
* Assists in planning appropriate programs for holidays and special events
* Meets with each resident upon move-in to introduce the activities program and to learn of resident’s own personal interests and likes/dislikes
* Designs events to meet the interests of the residents
Job Requirements:
* Responds creatively to resident’s requests for programs and activities
* Ability to pass a background check and eligibility for employment
* Recognition of the needs and concerns of others, and the ability to build relationships with others from different backgrounds
* Participates and assists in marketing and staff functions
* Ability to physically meet the demands as needed
