And we will be very happy if you come to be part of our story.Responsibilities and assignmentsYou must plan, organize and manage library processes/services, through librarianship methods and promote actions aimed at forming critical readers and wholesome citizens:Organize and catalog the library's book collection;Provide assistance and guide users about the library system;Take part in the planning of reading programs and cultural events, spreading the importance of reading and the benefits of using information;Ensure the library's collection upkeep;Process the collection through library techniques;Prepare statistics on library services;Research and propose new interactive media with the aim of developing in students an interest in reading;Manage the collection system;Carry out an inventory of the collection according to a pre-defined periodicity;Control library checkouts, informing the child and teacher about the need to return the book, and in case of overdue returns, request the administrative office support, if necessary and in accordance with school policy;Research and survey collections in English, Portuguese and Spanish by age group for acquisition;Organize collection by age group;Organize the Book Club procedure (when requested by the direct superior);Participate in the Middle Years coordination management on elective classes;Adapt elective class for students with special educational needs;Supervise the study schedule of Middle Years students from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm;Teach the Book Club ECA class;Carry out other activities related to the role, whenever requested by the immediate superior.Requirements and qualificationsEducation: Graduate student of LibrarianshipLanguages: Proficiency in English (English level: B1 or higher)Specific Technical Knowledge:Bibliographic Collection Management ProceduresSoft Skills and Values:Caring ProfileOrganizationDigital ThinkingInterpersonal RelationshipCreativityAdditional informationLocal/Campus: Red House International SchoolProcess stagesStep 1: RegistrationStep 2: Placement TestStep 3: Interview - People CultureStep 4: Hiring
