Job Title: Logistic Category Manager Americas City: São Paulo, SP (JK Office) Work Model: Hybrid Clevel: C-42 As a Logistic Category Manager Americas you will be responsible for acting as main procurement logistic person for Americas region for all relevant stakeholders on the development and implementation of logistic category strategies, bringing outside in solutions and innovations, based on sustainability criteria and aligned with business priorities, ensuring strong cost management and mitigating potential supply risks, cross collaborate within Global Logistic and Packaging team a a category expert in the region. Your key responsibilities Be responsible for the overall Category strategy development as to deliver maximum value Define and implement regional sourcing strategy using internal, external analysis and outside in solutions, innovation and sustainability Prepare and lead fact-based negotiation and select suppliersInitiate contract implementation and resolve issues Develop and manage relationship with suppliers and track their performance Implement and execute Key Supplier Management programs (KSM) with critical suppliers. Initiate and conduct supplier reviews. Identify potential contract improvement opportunities & renegotiations. Define and implement (strategic) supplier management process. Manage relationship with internal customers during projects Collect and manage internal customers' requirements to identify further TCO reduction opportunities, process improvement and delivery effectivenessLeverage business intelligence and market analysis to lead innovation ideas within the managed Spend areaAct as catalyst for growth, supporting BU on the cost management + EBITDA improvement:Evaluate and renew contracts by identifying and prioritizing opportunities for reduction of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).Propose and implement new ideas for changing status quo / changing operating model, scope and ways of working that can bring EBITDA contribution for the business.Lead cross functional teams and during project execution, bringing outside in solutions, aligned with business need and priorities. You Bring Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, Economics). A master's degree is preferred.Proficiency in the local language and fluent in English. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Strong background in either Procurement or Business operations. Proven experience in project management, with expertise in Strategic Sourcing Methodology. Six Sigma or PMP certifications are a plus. Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems. Excellent collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams. Proven ability to influence, motivate, and lead others towards achieving business goals. Strong sense of initiative and innovation in driving business success. Experience in demand management and negotiating favorable outcomes. Proficient in gathering business intelligence and using data analytics to drive decision-making. A strong track record of owning and delivering successful outcomes. Experience working in a multi-national organization is highly desirable. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 30%, primarily domestically with occasional international travel.
