**About the role**:
The Solutions Architect creates simple to complex and multi-competency solutions to address our existing and prospective client’s business requirements. The solution architect is accountable for the overall solution design inclusive of the underlying technical architecture, service level agreements, overall solution costing, delivery planning and handover, validation that the solution is technically qualified and can be delivered by Orange Business Services and representation of that solution both internally and externally if required. In addition to being the solution owner and approver, the solution architect takes a larger role in the deal shaping and financial aspects of the solution. As a relationship builder, develops and manages multiple interfaces with the internal stakeholders and maintains an active role of involvement with the account during the duration of the deal, including if needed such customer facing activities such as customer presentations and negotiation in conjunction with the account manager.
Key accountabilities
- Provide presales solutions design support for both new and existing customers requiring Orange Business Services Solutions, within single or multiple competencies and based on the full services lifecycle.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the external tools that are required in conjunction with internal tools, systems and processes in order to develop quality / approved technical proposals to customers.
- Maintain technical knowledge on one or more competencies within the Orange Business Services products, services and solutions sets
- Secure and manage as required additional resources to accommodate specific customer requirements in accordance with Orange Business Services established processes and policies
- Interface with customers as required in support of internal sales, operational personnel, or established third party relationships
- Ensure effective handover to delivery organizations.

- Deliver from simple to large scale and complex solutions which provide high value throughout the full life cycle of the contract
- Identify, develop and manage key partner and vendor relationships as required to deliver fully integrated solutions for specific client engagements in conjunction with the Account management team
Education, qualifications, and certifications
- Degree in relevant technical field or equivalent is desirable,
- Technical certifications Desirable (i.e. CCNP/CCIE Level).
- Business background and acumen is desirable.
- Good skills in English language (speak, read and write) is mandatory and other languages are a plus (i.e Spanish, Portuguese, French)
experience
- Related work experience within the telecom or IT industry or equivalent.
- Knowledge on SD-WAN knowledge is desirable (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Knowledge on LAN (Wireless, Wired Networks)
- Knowledge on the Cisco Portfolio of solutions
