You will lead the setup and management of our local moderation team, ensuring user safety and enhancing the overall community experience. This role will play a key part in helping us build strong connections with our Brazilian users and ensure our app grows in alignment with local culture and values. Position: Community Operations Manager Location: Remote (Brazil-based) Employment Type: Full-time Role Description: As the Community Operations Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing our Brazilian chat moderation team. You will ensure that user experience aligns with local cultural norms and remains safe, respectful, and engaging. What You’ll Do Recruit, train, and manage the moderation team for the Brazilian market Oversee daily moderation operations and ensure compliance with community guidelines Localize community standards and content policies based on Brazilian cultural and legal norms Act as a bridge between the moderation team and product/operations teams Analyze user behavior and moderation data to improve community experience Provide local insights on content strategy, user engagement, and feature development Handle sensitive or escalated cases with sound judgment What We’re Looking For Native-level Portuguese and fluent English Based in Brazil or with deep understanding of Brazilian culture At least 2 years of experience in community management, content moderation, trust & safety, or customer operations Strong communication and team management skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment Experience with dating/social apps is a strong plus
