The Solution Architect, SFDC role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce.com (SFDC) solutions at Paycor. As the technical owner, he/she must work across business units to gain a clear understanding of functional requirements and use his/her SFDC expertise to develop solutions leveraging capabilities of the SFDC platform.
The Solution Architect must have in-depth knowledge of SFDC development best practices to ensure scalable solutions are being implemented. You must be able to translate business requirements into optimal technical solutions that meet Paycor’s long-term objectives. This individual will be involved in some of the key SFDC initiatives and must provide architectural governance over Paycor’s key SFDC solutions.
In addition, the Solution Architect must be a team player with excellent communication skills. Our people are our most important asset. We need you to recruit, mentor, develop, and promote our best and brightest.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Take a Technical Lead role on SFDC development initiatives and provide mentorship and direction to less experienced developers and administrators.
* Responsible for the reliability, availability, and scalability of solutions built on SFDC.
* Design and develop solutions first leveraging out-of-the-box features, and when necessary, design solutions with Visual Force, APEX, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies.
* Be hands-on with configuration and customization, and facilitate innovation with proof of concepts.
* Build custom integration using web technologies and tools such as Scribe.
* Lead data quality initiatives to ensure SFDC data accuracy.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of Paycor’s strategic business goals and alignment to SFDC.
* Be a SFDC evangelist with a demonstrated ability to influence key project stakeholders.
* Develop, document, communicate, and enforce SFDC security best practices.
* Ability to research and analyze 3rd party vendors to make build vs. buy recommendations.
* Conduct research on emerging technologies or new SFDC features to improve UX and/or support process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field.
* At least 4 years of SFDC experience or 4 years of Object-oriented development experience along with 2 years of SFDC experience, in the following areas:
* Any common SFDC IDE.
* APEX classes, APEX triggers, Visual Force pages, SOQL, SOSL and Force.com API, Salesforce Lightning, etc.
* Integrating Salesforce cloud solution with enterprise applications, identity, and access management and 3rd party products.
* Salesforce security model.
* Version control systems and deployments.
* 3rd party AppExchange products.
* Deep understanding of various SFDC products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Revenue Cloud, etc. is critical.
* Solid understanding of SFDC functionality from both a point-and-click and custom development perspective.
* Strong experience in system design and interoperability with external systems.
* Ability to work in an agile-driven culture and adapt to changing requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a project team and business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and implement a solution.
* Creative solutions-oriented mindset and innovator.
* High energy self-starter; must be flexible and able to take the initiative with minimal guidance.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Experience in Financial Services, Payroll, HCM, or related business preferred.
* SFDC Certifications preferred.
