Your Role at Vantive:
Interface with a broad spectrum of Finance and non-Finance personnel globally – both in the businesses and across VBS functions such as Intercompany, P2P, Payroll, FP&A, FPO, Internal and External Auditors. Excellent top-level exposure to the Inventory performance of Vantive and each of its businesses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform complex Inventory Analysis for Stakeholders in a timely manner.
2. Account for Inventory Technical accounting areas such as On Hand, In transit, WIP, FG, MRO, E&O Reserves, Cap&Roll, etc.
3. Prepare and/or manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation and certification.
4. Perform and/or approve inventory account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines, follow up to resolve open items.
5. Provide audit support as needed.
6. Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet Flux analysis.
7. Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
8. Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
9. Support local, regional, and global projects, as required.
10. Identify and implement process improvements.
11. Create, maintain all DTPs, SOP, Critical Spreadsheets to execute the job activities.
12. Coordinate a team to complete the main process accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
2. 3 plus years of relevant work experience. Inventory accounting experience with a manufacturing entity preferred.
3. Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or Share Service.
4. Strong technical, research, and analytical skills.
5. Close attention to detail, quality, and control.
6. Demonstrated ability to achieve results in an efficient and timely manner.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, organizing, prioritizing, and communicating effectively.
8. Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
9. Strong Excel skills (Power Queries); experience with JD Edwards, Alteryx is a plus.
10. Fluent in both written and spoken English (B2+).
11. Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required. Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require work on public holidays.
