**End-User Support**: Ensure that the IT department provides efficient and timely support to end-users, addressing issues and requests quickly and effectively.
- Operational Efficiency:
**System Optimization**: Continually improve the operational efficiency of the school by maximizing the appropriate use of information systems, integrated databases, and communication mechanisms.
**Evaluation and Updates**: Regularly assess the effectiveness of current technological solutions and implement updates or changes as needed to meet the school’s requirements.

**Structural Review**: Continually assess the structure and staffing of the IT department, making recommendations for changes or improvements as necessary to ensure alignment with the school’s goals.
- Team Management:
**Empowerment and Supervision**: Empower, supervise, and evaluate all members of the IT department, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to perform their roles effectively.
**Professional Development**: Facilitate ongoing professional development and training for the IT team to stay current with technological trends and improve performance.
**Budget and Resource Allocation**:
**Budget Preparation and Monitoring**: Prepare and monitor the IT budget and resource allocation, in conjunction with other cost centers, to ensure effective financial management aligned with the school’s needs.
**Cost Evaluation**: Evaluate technology expenses and seek opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or functionality.
Certifications and Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
**CompTIA A+**: Basic certification for IT support roles, covering hardware and software.
**CompTIA Network+**: Validates knowledge in managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, and configuring basic network infrastructures.
Experience
Experience working in international or multicultural educational settings can be beneficial.
