We are seeking experienced professionals to for the strategic role of Partner Migration Program lead.
Due to unprecedented growth in the number of cloud migrations we are expanding our team to the next level.
As a leader, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our large migration strategy by working with our key partners to support organizations transition to cloud.
You will own the migration goals for our partners in, have an assigned Solution Architect and leverage proven programs and the deep experience and capability across our Solution Architects, Partners, Professional Services, and Business Development team.
AWS partners & resellers include the largest systems integration companies (such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini and Cognizant) as well as hundreds of innovative software and services companies who are using AWS to transform their customers.
This role will focus on working with select consulting and systems integrator partners, their AWS partner managers and AWS account teams to create compelling commercial propositions that convert pipeline and lead to large enterprises migrating to AWS.
Key job responsibilities
Leading the Partner Migration Program for VMWare in Latam entails the following:
- Own the Partner Core goals for MAP in terms of AWS and Partner Originated MAP wins and Partner recruitment and enablement in Latam
- Identify and develop Migration Competency partners for >insert region > and support local partner leadership on MAP goals
- Actively participate in the evolving strategy of the program by making meaningful contributions to key narratives and planning documents developed from the central program team.
Both providing insight from the execution of the program locally and thinking big about how the program can evolve
- Lead the enablement of internal and external partner teams on AWS migration programs
About the team
Within the APN Core Latam, the Latam Partner Migrations team (PMP team) is a group of Business Development professionals goaled on winning AWS and Partner Originated MAP migrations.
The individuals are experts on AWS' MAP program and are responsible for driving the Partner enablement and execution within a region, with a primary focus on VMWare migrations.
Given the strategic importance of migrations and modernization we are recruiting a Business Developer to drive our partner strategy in a specific region.
The individual will develop a community of partners across Latam and supplement the regional leads to drive GTM and sales pursuits.

- Strong written communication skills and fluency are paramount; high degree of comfort presenting to technical and senior leadership audiences
