General Job Description
- Prepares and monitors long range plans regarding expansion, procedures, staffing, equipment, vehicles, and products on the station level.
- Provides technical training to field personnel in workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training sessions in such areas as operations, manning contingency planning, productivity, cost effectiveness, and manpower scheduling.
- Monitors productivity, service, and cost performance in all areas of station operations and assists personnel in implementing required changes.
- Maintains communications between the operations and corporate departments to provide technical expertise relating to facility requests, including lease termination, new location, five year planning, equipment justification, layout, vehicle planning, and cost justification.
- Assists in studies designed to implement sound and innovative service engineering concepts into the operations, and thus produce benefits for FedEx and our customers.
- Mapping processes and operational flows;
- Assessment of route and team productivity to discuss improvement actions within the operation;
- Business Case and CAPEX development;
- Preparation of SOP (Standard Operation Planning) for the stations and customized customers;
- Operational plans and peak and low season demand forecast (vehicles, teams, shifts);
- Implementation of improvement projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering. Postgraduate degree in progress preferred.
Green Belt or QDM Expert certification preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Four (4) years related experience.
Minimum Skills Required:
Advanced Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint).
Good written communication and analytical skills.
Availability to travel.
Good project management skills.
Fluent English.
