Job Purpose and Impact
Responsible for ensuring consistent development, deployment and governance of process control standards, technologies, and job aids in alignment with global, regional and industry standards and innovations.
Establish accountability measures and reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance and corporate benchmark metrics and measurement to ensure effective utilization and integrity of process control solutions and associated automated tools and systems.
Lead the tactical development and delivery oversight of vision, direction and strategy for process control, advanced process control, model predictive control and real time optimizers.
Partner collaboratively to coordinate and promote process control engineering programs and policies globally and regionally.
Support consolidating overall analysis, proposing recommendations in areas of improvement and implement sustainable solutions to improve performance within acceptable risk tolerance.
Provide input and partner with CSST stakeholders and Smart Manufacturing disciplines to develop approaches and associated sustain work processes to increase Autonomous Operability Maturity
Develop global/regional Process Control Capabilities with the creation of technical education strategy, mentoring and coaching for process control talent.
Establish and develop work processes and supporting process for process control engineering deliverables in capital projects and oversee advanced support in selected projects
Provide expert thought leadership in process control with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.
You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

LI-Remote Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) with hands on definition, implementation and sustainment of basic PID controls, advanced process control (APC) and Model Predictive Control (MPC)
Strong Knowledge of process engineering fundamentals and process unit operations
Strong knowledge in data analysis, including dynamic and multivariate aspects
Ability to build relationships and influence diverse multifunctional teams globally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in facilitation of continuous improvement such as Kaizen, Six Sigma or Lean process green/black belt
Program/Project management skills such as business case development, benefit and risk analysis
Technical gap assessment and solution identification
Ability to translate highly technical information across all levels of technical knowledge
Fluent English
