In this role, you will be responsible for managing indirect procurement in Brazil, focusing on the Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines areas, while leading a team. You will work closely with indirect spend owners across all GSK business lines and establish strategic partnerships with our suppliers. As part of the Emerging Markets Procurement regional team, your responsibilities may extend to supporting critical projects in emerging markets, depending on business needs. Your Responsibilities : Global and Local Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with global teams and hubs to provide local business requirements and market insights, ensuring the effective creation and execution of regional and global procurement strategies. Procurement Strategy Execution: Implement global procurement strategies for various spend categories, operating with a global mindset while ensuring that local or regional needs are met. Management of Financial Benefits: Manage financial benefits according to the Spend Management Framework, ensuring transparency in the budgeting process and alignment with the business unit and finance area regarding delivered values. Creation of Effective Budgets: Develop and deliver effective budgets (Procurement Plans) agreed upon with stakeholders and the finance sector, in compliance with the spend management framework. Building Strategic Relationships: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with local stakeholders at GSK to understand business requirements, identify value opportunities, and align procurement strategies. Management of External Suppliers: Manage effective contracts with suppliers to maximize global and local opportunities, while monitoring and measuring the performance of the supplier base in a robust manner. Supplier Risk Management: Establish and lead a robust strategy for managing and monitoring supplier risks, ensuring effective communication between supplier structures above country and local and regional networks. Why you? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Solid experience in procurement as a function leader, with a proven track record of delivered results. Evidence of designing and executing effective strategies for supply base management and risk mitigation in complex environments. Experience in developing and implementing category sourcing strategies in a global framework with a focus on local adaptation. Proven track record in managing local cross-functional projects, coordinating diverse teams to achieve consistent results. Proven ability in effective communication and influencing at senior levels, especially in international organizations with complex matrix structures. Fluent English. Why GSK?
