As Head of Performance, you will lead entire paid acquisition and performance marketing strategy, ensuring profitable scaling and sustainable customer acquisition.
You will manage high-spend campaigns, optimize funnels, and drive innovation in performance marketing while leading a small, focused team.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Paid Media Strategy & Execution Develop and lead a multi-platform paid media strategy (Meta, Applovin, Google, YouTube, and others).
Manage daily budgets of $50K–$100K on Meta while maintaining strong ROAS (1.8+), CPA, and CAC .
Implement advanced bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and creative testing frameworks .

Funnel & CRO Optimization Collaborate with the CRO lead to optimize the full funnel ( ads ? landing pages ? checkout ? upsells ).
Identify conversion drop-off points and rapidly test new landing pages, checkout flows, and upsell sequences .
Work closely with the Creative Director and video editors to continuously refine ad creatives and landing pages.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Manage and mentor a performance team (CRO, funnel optimization, paid media buyers).
Align with the Fractional VP of Growth and senior leadership on strategic goals and KPIs.
Maintain strong communication with the Retention/Email team to improve LTV and new customer onboarding.

Performance Analysis & Reporting Implement advanced tracking and attribution models (pixels, event triggers, 3rd-party solutions).
Deliver weekly/monthly reports on key KPIs ( ROAS, CPA, CAC, new customer acquisition, funnel conversion rates ).
Use data-driven insights to iterate, scale winning strategies, and pivot when necessary.

Strategic Growth & Process Improvement Identify new paid channels to expand into (Reddit, Pinterest, YouTube, Taboola, etc.).
Recommend and implement structural improvements within the marketing team.
Quickly troubleshoot performance declines and implement corrective strategies.
Must-Have Experience & Skills: 8–9 Figure DTC Brand Experience: Proven success in high-volume paid acquisition for major U.S. DTC brands.
Expert-Level Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Advertising Skills: Advanced knowledge of Meta's Ads Manager, scaling, and optimization techniques.
High-Spend Campaign Management: Comfortable handling $50K–$100K/day ad spend profitably.
Data-Driven & Analytical Mindset: Strong grasp of tracking, attribution models, and performance metrics .
CRO & Funnel Optimization: Experience in landing page optimization, checkout flows, and upsell testing .
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience managing performance teams and working with creative & retention teams.
Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to pivot quickly in response to market changes and platform updates .
