The PositionAs Supply Chain Lead, you develop and lead the local supply chain strategy in alignment with network, regional and global direction considering affiliate needs. You will provide ongoing guidance and consultation to the local affiliate supply chain function and team, including cascading network, regional and global supply chain strategies, metrics, systems, standards and other tools and resources. You are a strategic thinker with excellent business acumen who can leverage this deep understanding of Supply Chain to guide decision-making, provide analytical insight and business judgement to support strategic and tactical initiatives in the country. The Supply Chain Lead serves as a key business partner to the commercial organisation and key ambassador for shaping and development of the Supply Chain. He/She is a key contributor to the success of the subregional and regional Supply Chain priorities. You will be a member of the Network’s Supply Chain LT and be an active player in the EMEA LATAM Supply Chain community. Supply Chain as a competitive edge striving for an extraordinary customer experience is the key principle. Your responsibilities:
Strategy & Innovation:
Deliver on financials and strategy in the country.Lead the implementation of local, regional and global supply chain initiatives through strong project management and networking capabilities by leveraging synergies across the network.Deploy and deliver the EMEA LATAM strategic focus areas in the country.Represent the affiliates’ needs and fuel the EMEA LATAM strategic pipeline to boost Supply Chain as a competitive edge.Drive “New Ways of Working” methodologies and their implementation.Identify opportunities and needs within the country.Drive local talent management to fuel the regional talent pool and development.Operations:
Ensure operational excellence and sustainability, lead and drive the implementation of continuous improvement within the country (Order Management, Demand & Supply Planning, Warehousing & Distribution, etc.).Act as the link for the country to key stakeholders e.g. Global Supply Chain, EMEA LATAM, Business Process Management, etc. and programs to deliver a superior customer experience, whilst continuously optimising the operation and guaranteeing business continuity.Ensure key performance deliverables such as inventory levels, distribution costs, write offs are achieved within the country.Drive and improve customer experience within the country.Oversee day-to-day operations with special focus on resolving any critical issues related to order management, invoice management, etc.Liaise with external parties including, but not limited to, customers, distributors, third party logistics providers, etc.Who you are:
To be successful in this application, our new Supply Chain Lead will have solid Supply Chain experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership position; a University Degree/MBA and a proven record of ensuring Supply Chain governance and a strong network with the internal and external Supply Chain communities.
