We value team members who are proactive, adaptable, and hungry for continuous learning.Position OverviewWe are seeking an Inventory Manager who excels in forecasting, critical thinking, and problem-solving within the Amazon ecosystem.
This role involves strategic planning to ensure adequate stock levels while avoiding overstock or expirations.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Amazon's inventory constraints, third-party logistics, and will use inventory management tools to optimize our reorder timelines.During the first 1-2 weeks, you'll train on Philippine time (with our existing team), then transition to a PST schedule to align with our core operations.Key ResponsibilitiesForecasting & Reordering:Use Inventory management and other analytical tools to apply formulas to forecast inventory needsDevelop reorder strategies that account for 3+ month manufacturing lead times and expiration datesContinuously monitor sales velocity and adjust inventory plans accordinglyInventory Monitoring & Control:Manage and track stock levels across multiple locations: Amazon FBA warehouses, third-party storage, and manufacturer sitesStay updated on Amazon's changing warehouse storage restrictions and ensure compliance to avoid stock-outs or over-limit feesConduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies in inventory recordsLogistics & Supply Chain Coordination:Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of productsCoordinate with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers for shipping, warehousing, and inbound logistics to Amazon FBACreate and manage purchase orders, shipping plans, and inbound shipping schedulesData Analysis & Reporting:Analyze historical sales, seasonal trends, and marketing forecasts to refine inventory strategiesPrepare regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and potential risks (e.g., slow-moving inventory or upcoming expirations)Suggest data-driven improvements to optimize forecasting models and reduce costsCross-Team Collaboration:Work closely with the Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to align inventory goals with promotional activities and budget constraintsCommunicate proactively about any potential stock issues or upcoming changes in the supply chainContinuous Improvement:Explore new tools, best practices, and industry trends to streamline inventory management and forecastingProactively identify and troubleshoot inventory and supply chain issues, proposing actionable solutionsRequirementsExperience:2+ years in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management, preferably within an eCommerce or Amazon-focused brandFamiliarity with Amazon Seller Central and FBA processes is highly desirableTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and forecastingExperience with (or willingness to learn) inventory management tools such as Helium10, Titan Tools, etcFamiliarity with project management or inventory management software is a plusSoft Skills:Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple prioritiesEffective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partnersA self-starter attitude with a passion for continuous learning and innovationWork Schedule & TrainingTraining Period: First 1-2 weeks in Philippine time zoneRegular Schedule: Transition to a part-time PST schedule thereafterBenefitsGrowth Environment: We value innovation and provide opportunities for you to propose new ideas and improvements.Professional Development: Opportunity to learn and leverage AI forecasting tools, and stay at the forefront of eCommerce best practices.Collaborative Culture: Join a team that supports each other and celebrates wins together.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typePart-timeJob functionProduct ManagementIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
