Oversees all sales and marketing activities with the support of the team and ensures that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied by keeping in mind the “spirit of Aman”.RESPONSIBILITIESCreation and implementation of a Sales & Marketing strategy, action plan and budget for Amanera for Leisure, Wedding, MICE and Corporate accounts.Responsible for all source markets geared towards the success of the hotel.Coordination and execution of sales and marketing plans and initiatives in conjunction with the Global Sales & Marketing teams and regional representations.Preparation and execution of annual Sales & Marketing budgets, expenses and revenue.Revenue Management and coordination with the reservations team to ensure maximum yielding opportunities are achieved.Identify opportunities for weekday business, shoulder seasons, long weekend, and other potential opportunities for all seasons as they relate to the various source markets.Represent Amanera from a sales perspective across the specific markets attributed, as well as develop and maintain close working relationships with all key decision makers in all key segments.Manage relationship with consortia accounts and luxury hotel programs including partner portal updates and deployment of updated marketing content.Responsible for achieving room revenue and occupancy targets through development and execution of a sales strategy through excellent customer service and protection of the brand integrity at all times.Devote attention to the business development and solicitation of business opportunities with sound analytics, plans and events supported by return on investments calculations.Ensure the team at Amanera proactively identifies, qualifies, and solicits appropriate new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals. Focus its accounts with larger potential sales revenue.Assess B2B and B2C marketing opportunities and trends that complement Aman’s potential target audience and gather market intelligence on clients and competitor information.Conduct a minimum of 15 client engagement activities weekly and submit a weekly report including summary of key actions / engagements and return on investment.Represent Amanera at international trade shows, industry events, sales missions, showcases and consumer shows.Work closely with Corporate Sales, Marcoms, Brand and Digital teams, responding in a timely manner to projects, submitting reports.Work closely with the Corporate Social Media team to ensure a robust social media strategy for the hotel.Assist trade partners with organizing FAM stays at Amanera, as well as with the Regional Sales team with all requests related to fam trips, site inspections etc.Assist in the hiring, development, retention and supervision of administrative staff to deliver excellent service. Sustains a work environment that focuses on fair and equitable treatment and associate satisfaction to enable business success.Submit creative new ideas to the GM and Corporate Marketing teams regularly (experiences, offers, visiting chef…)Oversee and work with the corporate brand team to ensure all hotel collateral is on brand and current.Guard the correct use of house style and comply with all the hotel’s departmental policies, procedures, Standard Operating Manuals, Checklists and Job Duties as provided by the hotel.Work with the corporate leadership team in recommending and implementing innovative and effective Revenue Management programs and targets for the property.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & ExperienceUniversity degree required.5-10 years progressive work experience in luxury hospitality preferably in a sales and marketing capacity.Excellent fluent English – written, verbal, listening and presentation. Spanish speaking will be a plus. Other languages knowledge is highly appreciated.Exceptional communication skills effective across diverse audiences.Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point.
