Job Summary
The complexity within the Product Engineering has steadily increased during the last years.
Software and Electronics are increasing and are deeply connected with mechanical solutions.
A second challenge is that functions have to be developed according to the state of the art of the industry in order to comply with EU product liability regulations and matching agriculture standards like ISO 25119, ISO 13849, ISO 12000 etc.
As the Systems Engineering Manager you will play a crucial part in growing the Systems Engineering methodology across the entire AGCO development process and you will partner with the responsible Managers for Functional Safety, Platform & Module Strategy and Technology Planning to successfully enhance the transformation.
Key Responsibilities of that position are:
- support the implementation of Systems Engineering fundamentals within the organization
- work cross-domain with mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and software engineers supporting designers, developers and programmers in globally distributed locations implementing Systems Engineering fundamentals within the development proces
- develop training, procedures and additional assets as required to ensure the roll-out of Systems Engineering within the product development
- support systems engineering tasks throughout the life cycle of the development projects which includes requirements engineering, system concept definition, system design and system test
- as a Systems Engineering Manager, you lead, mentor, and coach a Team of dedicated Systems Engineers

Job Responsabilites
Ø support the implementation of Systems Engineering fundamentals within the organization
Ø work cross-domain with mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and software engineers supporting designers, developers and programmers in globally distributed locations implementing Systems Engineering fundamentals within the development process
Ø Facilitate communication across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and other functional areas within a multi-disciplinary product development team environment
Ø develop training, procedures and additional assets as required to ensure the roll-out of Systems Engineering within the product development
Ø cultivate an environment that promotes System Thinking
Ø actively support Product Development Programs by ensuring the implementation of Systems Engineering fundamentals
Ø support systems engineering tasks throughout the life cycle of the development projects which includes requirements engineering, system concept definition, system design and system test
Ø Support the implementation of the Functional Safety process within the V-Model
Ø As a Systems Engineering Manager, you lead, mentor, and coach a team of dedicated Systems Engineers
**Qualifications**:
Ø At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering, especially in requirements engineering
Ø Professional experience in systems engineering (incl.
MBSE) and requirements engineering in a mechatronic environment, preferably in the automotive or AG industry
Ø Experience in formal requirements management
- experience with agile working methods, preferably a certification in e.g.
Systems Engineering, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban or else
- experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
- Exceptional organisational development skills
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage cultural change within organisation
- Excellent influencing and collaboration skills
