The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and finance, a deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
Responsibilities
* Manage the accounting process in LATAM markets. Responsible for financial statement closing and reporting.
* Consolidate monthly financial results addressing multi-currency, eliminations, and exchange rate impacts.
* Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and summary reports and projections for executive management reviews.
* Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts along with corrective action recommendations to management where necessary.
* Review and audit the work by using pragmatic and detail-oriented methodologies or spot-checking the logic of the work executed in other local and external finance teams to ensure accuracy.
* Manage the communication between LATAM and Finance and Accounting team located in the Hanoi office.
* Cross-functional partnership with business leaders, tax, treasury, and legal functions to execute accounting and reporting for strategic initiatives.
* Maintain historical records by filing documents in a highly organized fashion in digital format, preparing for disaster scenarios.

Requirements
Qualifications
* Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience
* 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Treasury.
* Experience with financial reporting, Export and VAT return preparation, and expense management.
* Experience with E-ledger and E-invoicing platform.
* Mastery of all things Finance: Audit, Expenses, Bookkeeping, AR/AP, Money Flows, and FX.
Knowledge & Skills
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Professional language level where the candidate must speak flawlessly, write excellent English and Spanish.
* Data analytical skills: great and deep research skills extracting and analyzing data and creating pivot tables.
