**Your Role**:
As a senior IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the setup of our customers network, providing solutions & ideas to customers for enhancing service, and ensuring that we are always solving the ROOT problem.
You must have a strong ability to learn and support clients in their software programs, an ability to research solutions, test and implement them without guidance.
As a senior IT administrator, our more junior technicians will look to you for support and guidance in the projects they are working on.
Some things that you will oversee include:
- Windows Server administration (AD, Upgrades, DNS, etc.)
- Network Administration (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- Office365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune)
- Virtual Machines (VMware)
- Remote Access (VPN's, Virtual Desktops, etc.)
- Azure AD
- Management of our client RMM & automations (N-able)
You will talk to clients on the phone, support them in video calls, and possibly over chat.
The bulk of these calls will be planning & strategy calls, with some escalated support calls from other technicians.
To be successful in this role you must excel at paying attention to detail, have a solid foundation of how programs work to be able to figure out issues you have never seen before, must seek to prevent issues from repeating, and must be passionate about ensuring our customers IT experience helps make them more money!
This role requires good communication skills to be able to work with clients and vendors to share our visions and planning.
You will also need the ability to create and follow processes that have been creat
