Job Purpose and Impact
The Environmental Outcomes Project Sr. Specialist will enable the company's efforts to scale and accelerate adoption of sustainable business practices that support our ability to achieve our goals globally and regionally. In this role, you will develop and assess credible projects that yield quality environmental outcomes, including carbon assets that correspond to international voluntary carbon standards to bring valued solutions to supply chain and non-supply chain customers. You will provide advanced knowledge to lead the process of originating and reviewing programs globally, including voluntary carbon standards methodology and process, volumetric benefit accounting and quality impact calculation, emissions accounting or other related sustainability targets. Key Accountabilities
Establish best practices for assessing environmental outcome projects, including the methodology used for the defined sustainability targets, such as greenhouse gas, water, land use change impacts of products or other focus area.
Lead the process in collaboration with the businesses and key internal stakeholders, tracking and accounting for progress toward various sustainability targets requirements and develop business intelligence solutions to enable data driven decision making.
Establish and maintain a portfolio of projects, tools and resources.
Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Solid Experience with impact modeling and accounting for various agricultural practices, such as climate, water, land use change or other focus area
Experience with Global Sustainability projects.
Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supporting qualitative and quantitative analysis across climate, emissions scopes, water resources, land use and other sustainability focus areas
Experience with life cycle assessment methodologies and software
