As the Category and Shopper Insights Manager at Red Bull, you will be responsible for all Red Bull Brazil category management, shopper insights and syndicated retail data area. Execute national and international strategy and manage Category Management team to gather Red Bull´s category expertise and enhance energy drink development in Brazilian market. Target more value for the category, increasing per capita consumption and making energy drink a better business for customers, through sales, profitability, stock, in-store execution and overall results.

1. Run Category Management projects with the identified top national and regional customers.Build relationships with the Category Manager, Space Managers, Logistics Managers and Marketing Managers of the customer.Attend face to face meetings with the customer to present and work with them to improve the performance of the Category in their stores.Build relationships and credibility with customers.Interpret the available data and shopper insight to come up with a tailored action plan that will grow Category turnover in that customer and make him gain share.For non-top customers provide initiatives and support to Key Account Managers, so they are able to implement them themselves.

Identify, develop and implement necessary processes to enhance sales business performance within areasBuild the data platform necessary to run analysis and generate insight – directly manage data providers.Identify opportunities and challenges. Quantify the opportunities. Prioritise and provide solutions to overcome the challenge or maximise the opportunity.Sales development analysis (by customer, by channel, by distribution point, etc.)Customer performance in all sales fundamentalsChannel (Retail, Impulse, C&C, etc.) specific strategies and tools/tacticsPromotional evaluationBusiness planning
3. Lead all kind of contacts between customers and Red Bull before, during and after category management process.Treat the relationships with the customers with ethics, transparency and results orientation.Guarantee that category management process is completely segregated of commercial process and negotiations. Also guarantee that all classified information that got to category management process is kept classified and restricted to category management and trade marketing leaders.
4. Responsible for mapping, analysing and structuring information of Energy Drink market, tendencies, changes, new players and shopper behaviour.Constantly bring the latest picture of Energy Drink category behaviour to Red Bull and always challenge actual category management process, discussing with HQ and adapting it if necessaryIntegrate the different data sources available to build best in class insights and decks to apply to the Category partners and share and train the commercial team.
5. All category management process and results must be driven properly for customers that don´t have a national contract so all key learnings are drilled down.
6. Marketing, business administration and other similar bachelor degrees required;
7. Experience in consumer goods and direct contact with market indicators, Nielsen data, planograms, category management process and shopper behaviour;
8. Commercial experience / knowledge of Key Account Management;
9. Fluent in English is required;
10. Leadership, motivation and team skills;
11. Clear understanding of Category Management process and category purchase dynamics;
12. Strong analytical, logical, time planning, strategic and communication skills.
