While this is optional, candidates who provide a video presentation will be given priority. Job Summary: We are seeking an Amazon Analyst & Catalog Specialist with a strong analytical background and hands-on experience in Amazon Vendor Central.
This role is responsible for data analysis, structured reporting, and catalog management, ensuring that account managers have the insights and operational support they need to drive success for our clients.The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Excel skills, a deep understanding of Amazon Vendor Central, and experience handling shortages, disputes, and case log management.
They will also support listing optimizations, troubleshooting catalog issues, and ensuring compliance across Amazon accounts.This is a data-driven and operationally focused role, requiring a balance of analytical skills for reporting and problem-solving skills for catalog and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting: Pull, analyze, and format reports from our business intelligence (BI) platform to track Amazon account performance. Identify trends, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities within Amazon accounts. Provide structured reports and insights to account managers, ensuring data-driven decision-making. Track key performance metrics across Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Seller Central. Vendor Central Management & Operations: Handle shortage claims, disputes, and case log management in Amazon Vendor Central, ensuring timely resolution of payment discrepancies. Monitor chargebacks, invoice disputes, and operational deductions, working to recover lost revenue for clients. Submit and manage new item setup (NIS) sheets and product listings, ensuring accurate catalog setup and compliance. Track inventory discrepancies, suppressed listings, and pricing issues, proactively resolving catalog-related problems. Work with internal teams to ensure catalog health, proper variations, and optimized backend attributes. Amazon Seller Support & Catalog Troubleshooting: Open and track Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central cases, resolving listing errors, compliance issues, and inventory concerns. Maintain catalog integrity, ensuring proper content, categorization, and keyword optimizations. Troubleshoot FBA inbound shipment issues, stranded inventory, and suppressed ASINs. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Amazon analytics and catalog management, with a focus on Vendor Central. Hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central, specifically in shortage claims, disputes, and case log management. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization. Strong understanding of Amazon's operational processes, catalog setup, and compliance requirements. Ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights for account managers. Experience with Amazon Seller Central, including catalog troubleshooting and listing management. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow structured reporting formats consistently. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication with internal teams. Preferred Skills: Experience with Amazon advertising metrics and how PPC interacts with catalog health. Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools for data extraction and reporting. Knowledge of inventory forecasting and supply chain management within Amazon Vendor Central. Understanding of Amazon compliance, pricing strategies, and listing optimization best practices. Working hours:Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST Compensation Range: $1,500 - $2,000 USD / month. Perks: 1 week of PTO from the beginning, and 2 weeks after 6 months in the company.
