What you'll be doing:
This key position is responsible for the complete governance of project management processes in the Research and Development area, managing the PMO team and executing R&D initiatives in the Latin America region. The PMO Coordinator leads communication and alignment between areas such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering, ensuring that projects are planned, prioritized, and executed effectively. Success in this role is measured by timely project delivery, effective process governance, financial indicator updates, and the ability to positively influence cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
Governance and Process Management:
* Develop, implement, and monitor project governance in the R&D area, ensuring data integrity and schedule compliance.
* Ensure financial tools are updated and report results in appropriate forums.
* Create and manage detailed project schedules, define and monitor KPIs aligned with strategic objectives, and develop management dashboards for timely progress tracking and decision-making.
People Management:
* Lead a cross-functional team, promoting professional development and ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the R&D area.
* Set goals, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative high-performance environment.
Project Execution:
* Manage the complete cycle of R&D projects, from technical conception to implementation, ensuring delivery within established deadlines, financial parameters, and expected benefits.
* Lead multidisciplinary meetings in Latam to track activities and schedules.
* Analyze risks and propose alternatives for schedule compliance.
* Conduct daily activities autonomously and be a facilitator and conciliator project leader.
* Represent the area in global and local forums, aligning regional initiatives with the company's strategic objectives.
* Maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
* Create, monitor, and present data to senior leadership, proposing and tracking appropriate action plans.
What you need to have:
* Completed higher education, preferably in Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Applications.
* Proficiency in MS Project, Google Sheets, and project management tools.
* Advanced Spanish.
* Previous experience in project management or PMO roles, with experience in team leadership and process governance.
* Technical knowledge in packaging materials (plastics, metals, glass, etc.) and manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of project planning and management processes.
* Ability to build process flows.
* Analytical skills for evaluating financial and operational data.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
* Focus on problem-solving and prioritizing demands.
Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree.
* Experience in developing cosmetic product projects.
