For more information, click here.What you will doResponsible for Engineering our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team enabling the growth of our brands in line with the company's overall goals and objectives to grow our DTC eCommerce business. This position reports into the Engineering Manager, DTC and is based at Sao Paolo, Brazil.Key Responsibilities Your main responsibility will revolve around our 4 core Shopify stores: Rogaine, Neostrata, Exuviance and Versalie.As part of a cross-functional agile software team, you will design, implement, and maintain our ecommerce systems (i.e., Shopify)Actively participate in Product-led Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming) and facilitate the Engineering-led meetings (e.g. Daily Stand Up)Work closely with software developers and QA team to deliver best design and implementation of features within the teamConduct frequent code review, unit testing and continuous improvementCollect, analyze and report required software development metrics needed to assess team performance and areas for improvementProvide technical oversight, making modifications to existing software and integrating applications and services in collaboration with leadershipAssist in identification and implementation of short-term and long-term technical and software solutions to business needs, including risk assessments and recommendations to business and technology leadershipDesign, implement, and support website availability monitors (e.g., external uptime monitoring, transactional monitoring) in coordination with the Kenvue site reliability teamPartner with the Product and Platform team to understand their roadmap and planned features, ensuring Engineering backlog is represented in the broader Product backlogHave the capability to work independently, taking ownership of problemsHelp with the mentoring and coaching of junior team membersAccountable for high quality deliveryOwn the documentation of our tech stackWhat we are looking for Required Qualifications 4+ years software development experience with a variety of languages1+ years people management experienceEcommerce software development and solutions experienceShopify storefront development using Shopify themes (i.e., fullstack)Competence with software development tools, including IDEs, source code management systems, and build/deploy toolsComprehensive understanding of Git version control system and conceptsStrong working knowledge of modern API integration methodologies (e.g., REST, RESTful, GraphQL, etc) and associated modern authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth 2)Decision maker mindset -- comfortable making timely and definitive decisions with confidence to help others understand and implement according to the decision madeWhat’s in it for youCompetitive Total Rewards Package*Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!Learning & Development OpportunitiesEmployee Resource Groups This list could vary based on location/region*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
