**Position Overview**
- Support Animal Health manufacturing facility to keep compliance regarding local and corporate EHS requirements.
- Work with the site EHS Manager to implement the best management practices to ensure sustained EHS compliance
- Role has a stretch goal of providing Process Safety expertise to other regional sites and within the AH division.
- Monitor effectiveness of management of change
- Possess Process hazard analysis (PHA) working knowledge and actively participate in PSSER efforts
- Conduct Risk Assessments
- Assist operations and engineering to ensure process safety processes and principles are properly followed, and incorporated within design and work processes.
- Assists in technical reviews, along with providing training on process safety management and related topics as needed
- Ability to provide guidance on applicability of related PSM standards, and follow up on actions associated with PHAs.
- Ability to trend data related to PSM improvements and impacts
- Work with the site EHS Manager to implement the best management practices to ensure sustained EHS compliance.
- Support specific EHS programs as assigned (i.e.
Management of Change, Machine Guarding, Risk Assessments, Process Safety, Incident Management and High Risk Work - Fall Protection, Confined Space, LOTO and Line Breaking)
- Coordinate efforts to prevent EHS incidents onsite, be part of investigations and root cause analysis; lead Safety initiatives in Region and Global Organization
- Perform on-site inspections and audits escalating potential gaps/ concerns accordingly.
- Coach the site personal about corporate policies, local requirements and best practices.
- Support the site engineering on significant capital projects and product transfer.
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments aligned with our Management of Change procedures.
- Identify required EHS training, and support implementation of EHS training for site employees in order to enhance their EHS awareness and skills.
- Work as a team member within the EHS team and the site.
- Demonstrate urgency sense and be ready to seek involvement with EHS matters, understanding business challenges and looking for quick and effective solutions.
- Act with candor and integrity to attend internal customers, such as the manufacturing group, engineering and quality.

**Education, Skill & Experience**:
- Degree or diploma in Safety, Process Safety, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
- EHS related experience in the industry and significant experience at multinational companies.
- Post-graduation in safety Engineering or Process Safety preferred.
- Fluency in English/Portuguese is mandatory.
Spanish is preferred as well.
