CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an MEP Project Team Leader to join our Commercial & Institutional – PM/CM Team at our office in Bethlehem, PA.
YOUR IMPACT:
CHA is committed to delivering on-time, on-budget and high-quality projects, working closely with owners throughout the process to ensure success. We provide the necessary tools and skillset to effectively manage construction projects from schools and apartment buildings to municipal buildings and warehouses.
The MEP Project Team Leaders play a critical role in the execution of high-quality projects that support the needs of our clients. The MEP Project Team Leader is responsible for overseeing both technical staff and those in project management roles to include reviewing appropriate staffing levels for the forecasted work, resource leveling, staff engagement, technical excellence and quality, and all operational activities so the team can function at an optimal level.
This individual is also responsible for the development of the staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. This individual will be measured relative to the team's project net revenue, project PF compared to budget, and expenses, as well as other metrics such as utilization and voluntary turnover. Additionally, as MEP Project Team Leader at CHA, individuals will also be expected to directly manage projects of varying size and scope.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical Engineering required
Professional Engineer License (PE) required
Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering, project management and technical leadership experience is required
Proven success as a leader
Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the team for strong technical and financial performance and client satisfaction
An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
Strong ability to resolve matters timely and lead initiatives and projects to completion with a sense of urgency
Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company and influence decisions from the top down and bottom up
Understands QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
Proficiency with MS Office software required
SALARY RANGE:
$120,000 - $144,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
