Job Title: Terminal Business Analyst
Maersk is seeking a skilled Terminal Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the terminal business demands, aligning requirements, and progressing delivery in collaboration with Regional and Global IT Functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Research and Analysis: Identify improvement opportunities, conduct analysis, prepare recommendations, and facilitate efficiency enhancements.
2. Business Requirements: Develop business requirement documents and specifications as directed by the management team.
3. Data Analysis: Analyze data and work with management to develop creative IT solutions.
4. Process Improvement: Work closely with the terminal operational and functional team to identify and implement improvements to business operations, services, and models using WOW/OS Lean as main tools.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with regional platform business analysts to modernize, streamline, and standardize the terminal tech portfolio.
6. Communication: Provide the frontline perspective to various regional and global tech teams, ensuring terminal constraints are captured at an early stage of new capability development.
7. Incident Management: Participate in root cause analysis for major incidents impacting terminal operations and ensure identified countermeasures are deployed as planned.
8. Tech Portfolio Modernization: Define the terminal Tech portfolio modernization, focusing on applications rationalization, with the Terminal IT manager.
9. Customer Support: Deliver support as the main IT contact for Shipping Line Customers, working closely with the Terminal Commercial Team to manage demands like EDI, Customer Facing Applications, and other required demands.
Requirements:
1. Advanced Data Analysis: Possess advanced data analysis skills.
2. Terminal Operating Model: Have a good understanding of the terminal operating model (TOS).
3. Credibility: Show credibility with the whole IT organization and business stakeholders.
4. Agile Principles: Experience with Agile principles and methods, and applying WOW (Lean) standards and tooling.
5. Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects/demands.
6. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving experience.
Salary: Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
Location: Maersk's headquarters or remote location.
