The Collections Supervisor will organize and prioritize the work of collections associates to reduce aged receivable balance. They will prioritize team efforts to meet cash targets, report on monthly progress, and highlight concerns to the collections manager to continually drive exceptional results in support of the GBS+ service mission.Responsibilities:Manage the Trade Accounts Receivable portfolio and monitor trends to address issues, speed up cash flow, and identify process improvements.Maintain relationships with various departments to resolve payment issues and provide KPIs analysis for senior finance leadership.Prepare and present productivity metrics and qualitative analysis to stakeholders; communicate with leadership on credit risks, bad debt, and bankruptcies.Review and monitor portfolio write-offs and reserves for bad debt; enforce credit policies and meet annual objectives/KPIs.Provide daily direction to staff; ensure staffing levels meet targets and standardize credit processes.Support audits, process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects affecting Credit Services.Create an environment of accountability and metric-driven success.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of collections experienceExperience leading cross-functional projects in the finance sector; willingness to learn problem solving and Green Belt methodologyExperience working with PC, Credit Systems/Tools--preferably SAP2+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, delivering complex projects with significant resultsExperience building and leading high performing, business-oriented teams that have a sense of urgency, a focus on results, and a commitment to qualityAdvanced level of EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related fieldExperience managing time demands, incomplete information or unexpected eventsSolid organizational and planning skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oralGreen/Black belt certificationDemonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of the organization, General Management and Field Sales Executives within Ecolab and across functionsSuccessful in leading change initiativesOur Commitment to Diversity and InclusionEcolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
