3. Work effectively with Technical Product Managers to own & ensure delivery against agreed priorities.

5. Provide systematic and direct individual performance feedback focused on recognition of achievement and opportunities for growth.
6. Manage the day-to-day activities of a development team, focusing on full-stack application development.
7. Ensure the development team accurately understands and adheres to business requirements.
8. Take projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
9. Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Work closely with key stakeholders to promptly raise project issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
11. Proactively assess escalations and collaborate with the team to respond appropriately.
12. Participate in on-call support as an escalation point of contact for technical issues.
Requirements
13. Bachelor's/Master’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
14. professional experience in software development, with focus on:
15. Long time dedicated to developing application software in Software as a Service (SaaS) distribution model using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
16. Must have managerial experience, specifically in managing developers in people manager capacity.
17. Outstanding software engineering experience with previous experience of managing engineering teams.
18. Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solutions from design through delivery.
19. Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
20. Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
21. A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a lack of fear for learning something new. You should be open to learn from others and willing to help mentor and teach.
22. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with technical product managers, architects, and technical teams across different product areas.
23. Knowledge of secure coding practices, compliance, open-source technologies and frameworks.
24. Good understanding on Backlog planning.
25. Hands-on experience in developing and debugging Java and J2EE applications.

28. Databases: Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
29. SQL: DDL, DML, DCL and TCL.
30. Test frameworks: Junit and Mockito.

We’re looking for Software Engineering Manager to help build the new SAP Fieldglass Engineering team in Sao Leopoldo, to augment our Engineering teams spread across USA, UK, Israel, India and Australia.
