**MISSION**: Analyze containers damages caused by 3rd Party and recover the repair amounts.
**SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Support customers regarding dispute analysis and charges.
Identify, analyze and invoice import damages, in addition to audit empty units and collect recovery.
Align information and request documents with the ports of origin about units with missing and damaged parts, information about units and recovery procedures by port.
Notify customers and collect processes in Outstanding.
Generate reports for management and Chennai, in addition to forwarding cases for due analysis of HO Recovery.
Support vendors in the appropriation of new methods, new processes or new tools to foster their commitment to change.
Update exchange rates in the system.
Keep strict communication with HO for Total Loss case.
Works with M&R Department as required with respect to damages caused by improper stowing, bracing, costumers, depots etc.
Ensure cases of third party damages be duly inserted in iMARS and iRECOVERY system.
Perform regular Audits on collections amounts, ensuring closure of invoices by SSC department within Ocean system.
Perform visits on site on depots for audit to align possible deviations and ensure CMA CGM criteria.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
**Degree**: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Comex and related areas.
**IT and System Requirements**: Good level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
**Language**: English (intermediate to advanced).
Spanish is desirable, but not a requirement.
**Experience**: Minimum of 2 years in shipping and/or transportation or equivalent exposure earned by site experience in a container repair environment
