* Develop and implement commodity strategies to achieve corporate, purchasing & business line goals/objectives.
* Organize and lead commodity strategy meetings to cross-functional/cross-business audience through region.
* Organize and lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for your assigned commodity.
* Coordinate with the legal team to ensure contractual obligations minimize risk to the Company.
* Able to accommodate business line/plant-specific and geographical commodity requirements.
* Travel Required: 25% Domestic and International. (Valid Visa required)
Education:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Business / Materials Management or Logistics required, with a preference for an MBA. CPM and/or CPIM certified is a plus.
Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement and/or Materials Management.
* Demonstrated background and proven experience with RFQ processes, data analysis and commodity strategies.
* Demonstrated background and proven experience with high-level supplier negotiations and materials management.
Skills:
* Working with and/or leading a Global team to drive substantial savings for the organization.
* Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.
